The answer is yes! Talc has taught people from all walks of life; young, old, no experience, some experience...he will meet you where you are and get you to a place where you can play your favorite songs with confidence.
Talc makes it his priority for him and his students to enjoy the process of learning. There is no point in putting effort, time, and money into something that isn't bringing growth and joy. While he encourages a certain time commitment each week, showing up on time, regular practice, and putting effort in to achieve results, he understands that everyone has a different relationship with the piano. There will be no pressure, just encouragement and some laughs in between.
You can buy a keyboard on Amazon. If you are taking online lessons, all you need is a stand for your phone or a computer to set up next to you so that Talc can see your keys. With a keyboard, you can even transport it similar to how you would a guitar.
Talc has been teaching on zoom as well as in-person for many years now. With a camera situated above his keys, you can learn from the comfort of your own home. If you want to achieve results, Talc asks that you put in just 10 minutes of practice per day, or a couple hours per week. He has observed with this level of commitment many students experience a lot of progress, and are still able to balance the busyness of everyday life.
